桃苗定干后，在整形带内选留5到6个芽，部位分布合理壮芽留下，其余全部抹除。以后一段时间只让留下的芽生长，其余芽严格控制，随见随抹出。
After
the peach seedlings are dried, 5 to 6 buds should be left in the
shaping belt, with a reasonable distribution of strong buds, and the

选留骨干枝：留下的芽枝条到70-80cm达半木质化，选留永久性骨干枝，每株选苗三到四枝，在主干正南背上方选留一中心延长枝，最好选留强枝。从上到下依次选留第二骨干枝。第一骨干枝，这两骨干枝着生的位置最好选留在主干背上部。或东西两侧水平方向。靠正南方向下枝不能留成骨干枝。各枝距中心干依次约20cm-30cm左右，最理想的就是第一枝要弱于第二枝，第二枝要弱于主干。

that fall due south cannot be left as bony branches. The distance

放枝：定植当年枝条生长到8月中旬，基本达到木质化，把选好的两侧骨干枝顺主干东西两侧向两个不同方向慢慢牵引降劲固定地面成为梢端高，跟部低斜。中心干朝南倾斜放下固定。三枝在地面高度基本一致，并有大致相同的张开角度。三大枝固定后，余下的枝条可相应放下在其间，并加以摘心。
